Do you offer Save The Date Cards?
Yes we do. You can choose 2 options. A standard pre-printed Save the Date card, or a Personalised Save the Date Card. For the Personalised Save the Date Card option, you can choose your wording (up to a maximum of 30 words) or let us provide appropriate wording for you! It's entirely your choice. Just let us know which option you would like on your order form. These cards are a perfect way to set your wedding date in your guests' diaries!
Can you describe the Flat Board Style Invitations?
Our lovely Flat Board style Invitations are classic in style and shape. They use Italian board and the text detail of your wedding or special event is printed directly onto the board. They are contemporary, modern and simple in style, yet still maintain our trademark classic, elegant and stylish feel as with all our cards. They are very effective if you are looking for a simple way to invite your guests. They do not feature organza ribbon, and they match perfectly with the Flat Board Style high quality envelope. (Approx.Dimensions: 21cmx10cm)
Which cards are the Flat Board Invitations?
Bella, Poppy, Hollie, Tilly, Emma, Rose, Ellie and Ruby.
Do we have to order our Orders of Service Cards, Menu Cards and other stationery items for our reception at the same time as we order our Invitations?
No. It's fine for you to order invitations first, and order other items later. You won’t know how many guests will be coming to your wedding until later on anyway, so it is sometimes wise to order items such as Orders of Service, Menus, Place Names etc. a little later on rather than guess the quantities needed.
Are we able to have Fixed or Slide out Inserts? 
Either. We provide Inserts for the Invitation Cards.which are fixed within the card with the guests names printed for you, or if you prefer, we are able to leave the guest name line blank for you to write your guests name. This option means the insert would not be fixed into the card, so that you are able to slide the insert out easily to write the guest’s name without having to untie the bow! If you wish to write your guest’s name, a dotted line will give you this opportunity.
How will our stationery be sent to us?
Your invitations will be wrapped in tissue paper and packaged into secure box packaging. We use Special Delivery service by Royal Mail. You will receive your stationery the morning following posting, and your parcel will need to be signed for on arrival. We reserve the right to use other carriers. (Note. If orders are despatched on a Friday, Royal Mail do not guarantee a Saturday morning delivery, but a Monday latest delivery date.)
Do we have to pay the total amount in full with our completed order form?
No . There are 2 options for cheque payments. Option 1 : PART PAYMENT of at least 50% of total order value with the completed order form, and balance due on approval of your proofs. Option 2 : For credit/debit card & cheque payments - FULL PAYMENT made with each order. (Option 1 can only apply to customers ordering proofable items such as Save the Date cards, Invitations, Orders of Service and Menu cards).
Do you do Wedding Blessing Invitation Cards? Yes we do.
Which size envelope do we need to order for which cards?
The small Ivory superior envelopes are used for Small Invitations, Reply Cards (Alice, Emma and Lucy) and all Save the Date cards. The large Ivory superior envelopes are used for the Large Invitations. They match the cards perfectly.
Do you provide ORDER OF THE DAY Cards?
Yes we do. We offer Order of the Day cards in Lucy and Tessa designs. They are booklet style cards with inserted pages, and ribbon hand-tied along the spine, exactly the same as with our Orders of Service cards.
Which items of stationery have the hand-tied Organza ribbon finish?
Invitations (2-fold style invitations), Alice Save The Date Cards, Orders of Service, Menu Cards and Table (Seating) Plan Decorative Cards.
What Organza colours do you offer?
We offer a large selection of colours to choose from. Our stocked Organza colours are as follows:-
Ivory, Champagne Cream, Pale Pink, Soft Baby Pink, Rose Pink, Dusty Rose Pink, Fuchsia, Cerise Pink, Soft Lilac, Smokey Purple, Pale Blue Mist, Dark Navy, French Silver, Gold, Pale Antique Gold, Deep Ruby, Red Wine, Burgundy, Aubergine, Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate.
If you require a colour not stocked, we will always try and obtain your required colour. Please send a swatch of material for us to match to. If you would like to see swatches of organza - just let us know and we’ll be happy to send to you.
Will we see proofs before printing?
oh Yes. We will send you proofs for you to check before we print. Please check these very carefully. If you have signed your proofs, we will rely on this document and will charge for any changes made later down the line. The PROOF ITEMS ARE Personalised Save The Date Cards, Personalised Reply Cards, Invitation Cards, Orders of Service and Menu Cards.
Are we able to order a small quantity of Invitations, as we are having a small intimate wedding?
Yes of course! We can provide any number of Invitations for your Wedding.
Can we order our Invitations without Organza Ribbon?
Ribbon is optional for our 2-fold Invitation Cards. We do think though that the ribbon adds to the beauty of these cards.
How long will it take between ordering and receiving our Stationery?
Once your order is received, we will set to work on your Wedding Stationery. As they are all assembled by hand, you should expect a maximum of 6 working weeks to elapse between making your order and receiving your invitations. Allow a maximum of 28 days from approval of proofs, to order despatch. Your Orders of Service Cards, Menus and other items are usually completed AFTER the Invitations. You will probably not know the quantities for these until nearer your wedding date. We do advise you order 4 months before your wedding date for Invitations.
Can we choose our own wording for our invitations?
The traditional and formal wording is still the most popular. Where parents are divorced their names should read differently. (Please contact us if you would like further information on choice of wording. We can send sample sheets). We are happy to use whatever wording you would like us to use, conventional or otherwise. We even do Invitations for wedding receptions where the couple are already married, and wish to have a party afterwards for friends and family!
Can you advise which Items go with which Text Tint?
ALL OUR CARDS MATCH EACH OTHER - BOTH TEXT COLOUR OPTIONS BLACK AND DARK SEPIA MATCH EVERYTHING!
We offer the slight colour variation as occasionally we are asked to provide Reply Cards in a Dark Sepia tint, or provide the Orders of Service Inserts in a Dark Sepia tint as example. We will use Black unless otherwise stated on your order form. Having said this, we think the 2-fold style Invitations Lou Lou, Eleanor, Laura, Kate, Natalya and Lucy look fantastic with the Dark Sepia Tint used on any of our Reply Cards! The Dark Sepia Text Tint is particularly effective if you are looking specifically for a very slight vintage look to your text.
Are we able to have a particular colour of Organza ribbon other than your stock ribbon?
Yes. We are able to match to almost any colour. For non-stock ribbon there is a lead-time of between 2-4 weeks, as our organza comes from France. All you would need to do is send a swatch of fabric, and we will match it for you.
Are we able to have the Orders of Service and Menu Cards without the Organza ribbon?
The ribbon is used to hold the inserted inside pages secure. If you do not wish to see the ribbon, just let us know, and we shall use a sheer ivory ribbon and tie into a tiny knot on the back of the card. The ribbon is therefore not seen at all on the front of the card, and not very visible from the back. We do not like to staple the pages, as we feel this spoils the presentation.
Are you able to design a Seating (Table) Plan for my wedding, using the same theme as the Wedding Stationery?
Yes of course. We are able to provide the decorative parts to a table plan. Our Table Plan Cards use the same board as all other items, and feature hand-tied organza. The guest names and table name (or number) are printed for your reception. We call these cards Table (Seating) Plan Decorative Cards. They are beautiful, and are very popular. We are unable to provide easels, and mounting boards. You would need to mount the decorative parts we provide to you. You will need 1 card per table.
How much would a Table (Seating) Plan Decorative Card cost?
Our Table (Seating) Plan Decorative Cards are £4.15 per card (fully personalised and printed for you). You will need 1 card per table.
Are you able to supply Organza ribbon for us to hand-tie around napkins for our Reception?
Yes. We can provide Organza in your chosen colour. We provide the same width organza as used on your Invitation cards, and it comes on 25metre reels. £22.00 per reel. Please ask if you require a thinner ribbon width.
Can we have our Stationery in another language, (other than English)?
Yes this is no problem at all. We provide stationery Internationally, and have supplied our cards in many different languages, including German, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Portugese and French. There is a small charge for invitations printed in 2nd language (see price list).
Are we able to choose our own Typestyle/Font?
From our experience most customers choose one of two font styles. A traditional, classic font or a modern and contemporary font. We offer the choice of either of these. Alternatively, if you are looking for a specific font style, or would like something different, just let us know. We have a large selection of fonts to choose from, and will use of course use your desired font style.
We need our Stationery Urgently, as we have left it a little late! Can you help?
If you require your Stationery urgently, why not use our EXPRESS SERVICE. For an additional £45, and depending on stock availability, we can guarantee your order will be assembled and despatched within 4 days of receiving your signed proofs. (Excluding bank holidays and weekends). This applies to UK delivery only.
